أكد الدكتور أحمد غنيم، الرئيس التنفيذي لهيئة المتحف القومي للحضارة، أن المتحف أنهى استعداداته لاستقبال موكب المومياوات الملكية، والتي سيتم نقلها من المتحف المصري بالتحرير إلى مقر متحف الحضارة بمنطقة الفسطاط.
وسوف يصاحب كل مومياء صندوقها وبعض مقتنياتها بجانب توفير نوع من الجرافيكس الذي ينقل الزائر إلى أجواء تلك العصور.
