وكتب ميدو تدوينة عبر حسابه الرسمي على موقع التواصل الاجتماعي (إكس) ذكر فيها: «تعيين علاء نبيل مديرا فنيا لاتحاد الكرة مخالف لقوانين الاتحاد الدولي..الرجل لا يمتلك الدراسات المطلوبة لهذا المنصب».
